1. Zero Server-Side Project Storage

Cut List Optimizer Free (cutlistoptimizerfree.com) is engineered with a strict 100% client-side architecture. All 2D guillotine cutting calculations, 1D lumber bin packing, stock panel dimensions, blade kerf deductions, and custom part lists are calculated directly within your device's web browser using HTML5 Web Workers and JavaScript.

Your project dimensions, customer job names, material costs, and diagrams are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any remote cloud server or central database.

2. Local Storage & Device Persistence

To provide a seamless workshop experience, the tool stores your active stock sheets, parts cut lists, and UI preferences (such as light/dark mode and metric/fractional unit settings) locally on your device via standard browser localStorage.

This data remains solely on your personal computer, tablet, or phone. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser cache or clicking "Reset" within the application.

3. Cookies, Accounts & Telemetry

We do not use third-party tracking cookies, user tracking pixels, or intrusive behavioral monitoring scripts. You do not need to create an account, register an email address, or enter a credit card to use the optimizer.

4. Progressive Web App (Offline Mode)

Cut List Optimizer Free includes Progressive Web App (PWA) service worker caching so you can install and run the calculator in workshops, construction job sites, and off-grid locations without an active internet connection.

5. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Because we do not collect, process, or sell personal data or personally identifiable information (PII), our service adheres by design to global privacy regulations including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
